For the month of July 2021, Memories Dining & Bar – Regina SK Canada – is offering a spectacular menu at an amazing price of just $32.00 per person for a 3-course dinner:
starter, choice of appetizer, salad & entree. (4 courses with starter)
Starter:
Baked Rolls & Skordalia (Garlic) Spread.
They call it a garlic spread, but the aroma was intoxicating & the flavour – divine!
I’d have enjoyed this as a full meal.
The garlic-based Skordalia was perfectly balanced with the other ingredients which included Potato, Olive Oil & Oregano.
Garnished with a bright green sprig of parsley, it was a great way to start the evening, with either the spread or, alternatively, the herbed butter on the fresh, hot roll.

Appetizer:
Baked Feta: The wedge of Feta Cheese, coated with sesame seeds, was baked for 8 minutes at high temperature. This helped toast the sesame seeds while bringing the Feta to just the right temperature to turn it into squeaky-goodness as it’s enjoyed.
The honey drizzle perfectly complimented the savory cheese. As a matter of fact, I don’t ever recall tasting a honey that’s so delicate in flavour & consistency.
My host, George, explained Memories Dining imports this unique honey from Greece.
I’m looking forward to discovering more combinations from this liquid gold!

Salad:
Lentil Salad. An abundance of Lentils with honey-mustard dressing.
Mixed with the lentils were crunchy carrots, bits of grilled vegetables, bell pepper & zucchini.
This is a very light dish, yet incredibly satisfying.

Main Entrée:
Shrimp & Scallops Saganaki, presented in fresh tomato sauce, Greek feta & spice herbs on feta risotto.
Fabulous! Jumbo shrimp wrapped around delicate scallops, served piping hot in a tasting tomato sauce accented by feta & herbs.
The risotto was delicious – perfectly prepared rice balanced with just the right amount of Greek Feta.
Grilled vegetables finished the plate adding color, dimension and marvellous flavour.
